Dr. Robert Rohrbaugh is a Professor of Psychiatry and holds leadership roles as Deputy Dean for Professionalism and Leadership, and Associate Dean for Global Health Education at Yale School of Medicine. He graduated from Franklin and Marshall College (BA Biology, 1978) and Yale School of Medicine (MD, 1982), completing residency and geriatric psychiatry fellowship at Yale. His career focuses on integrating education, clinical practice, and global health initiatives. He developed the VA-CT Psychiatry Primary Care Clinic and Geropsychiatry service, and led residency programs emphasizing social justice and health equity. Dr. Rohrbaugh co-founded the Bellagio Global Health Education Initiative to improve global health education across income levels.
