Prof. Robert Porte is a Professor of Surgery at the University of Groningen, affiliated with the Faculty of Medical Sciences and the Groningen Institute for Organ Transplantation (GIOT). He leads the Section of Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery and Liver Transplantation. His research focuses on liver transplantation, machine perfusion techniques, and graft preservation.
