Robert Pidgeon

Robert Pidgeon is an Associate Professor at Royal Roads University and a partner at ADR Education, a consulting firm specializing in conflict resolution and dispute system design. His academic and professional work bridges conflict analysis, environmental education, and communication, informed by a background in applied mathematics and certifications in dispute resolution from York University and Peacebuilders International.

Robert holds a Master's in Mathematics from the University of British Columbia and a Master's in Conflict Management from Royal Roads University. His research interests focus on transforming conflict through self-awareness, restorative justice, and systems thinking, integrating methodologies from meditation, martial arts, and mathematical modeling.

As a Chartered Mediator with the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada, he has designed conflict resolution frameworks for diverse organizations since 2006. He contributes to Royal Roads University's MA in Conflict Analysis and Management and MA in Environmental Education and Communication programs, while teaching introductory conflict management courses at the University of Toronto.
