Robert Moore is a Professor of Chemistry and Director of the Macromolecules Innovation Institute at Virginia Tech. His research focuses on polymer chemistry, material science, and energy materials, with emphasis on functionalization of polymers, ion-containing materials, and advanced composites.

Research Interests:

Grants & Leadership:
He led the Institute for Critical Technology and Applied Science (ICTAS) as Associate Director for Research (2010–2015). His lab develops novel materials for energy, sustainability, and additive manufacturing.
