Robert Mellor

Robert Mellor is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Southern Queensland, affiliated with the Rural Economies Centre of Excellence. His research focuses on regional drought resilience, integrating policy analysis and economic frameworks to address environmental challenges in agricultural and rural contexts.

Dr. Mellor holds a Master of Policy Studies (MPolicySt) from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and a PhD from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). His work emphasizes sustainable resource management and building economic resilience in regional communities.

His current role involves conducting research on climate change adaptation and regional development strategies, contributing to policy-oriented solutions for drought mitigation and sustainable practices in vulnerable ecosystems.
