Robert Mareček is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of String, Wind and Percussion Instruments at the Faculty of Music and Dance, Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. He has held prominent roles in major orchestras, including concertmaster positions with the Slovak Philharmonic, Brno’s Janáček Opera Orchestra, and the Marchfeld Philharmonie. Since 1996, he has served as concertmaster and artistic director of the Cappella Istropolitana chamber orchestra, leading performances globally.
