Robert Luce

Robert Luce is an HDR-qualified Lecturer in Mathematics at the University of Pau, specializing in numerical methods for partial differential equations. His research evolved from parameter identification to developing pseudo-conforming finite elements for complex geometries. Current work focuses on NXFEM methods for interface problems and posteriori error estimators.

He has supervised 6 PhD students on topics ranging from nonlinear pseudoparabolic problems to fracture modeling in porous media. Collaborative projects include international partnerships through the Zaragoza-Pau Mathematics Conferences.
