Robert Keith Collins is an Associate Professor of American Indian Studies at San Francisco State University since Fall 2006. He holds a BA in Anthropology and Native American Studies from UC Berkeley, and an MA/PhD in Anthropology from UCLA. His research focuses on African-Native American interactions across the Americas and cultural changes in Indigenous communities. He co-curated the Smithsonian's 'IndiVisible' exhibit and has authored multiple edited volumes.
