Dr. Robert J. Rivera is an Associate Professor of Theology at St. John's University, NY, affiliated with the St. John's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. His academic work spans Latina/o/x and Latin American theologies, theology and social theories, and contemporary Christologies.

Shawn Copeland (2018). Dr. Rivera is a member of the American Academy of Religion, Society of Biblical Literature, and Puerto Rican Studies Association.
