Prof. Dr.-Ing. Robert Huhn is a Professor at the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HTWK Leipzig), affiliated with the Faculty of Engineering and holding the Professorship for Gas and Heat Networks. He supervises research and teaching in energy systems, particularly gas and heat networks, and has been instrumental in advancing hydrogen technology since 2019 through the Hydrogen Village initiative in Bitterfeld-Wolfen. Recently, he supervised the award-winning master’s thesis "Transformation concept for achieving greenhouse gas neutrality in a bakery", which received the Leipzig Energy Prize from Netz Leipzig GmbH.
