Robert Hacker

Robert Hacker is an Adjunct Professor at Florida International University (FIU) and Co-founder/Director of StartUP FIU, a university-wide initiative fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. Over 15 years at FIU, he focuses on commercializing faculty research through venture capital investments, corporate partnerships, and federal grants.

His research interests span technology commercialization, social entrepreneurship, and the impact of the 4th Industrial Revolution. He has previously led global initiatives like One Laptop per Child (MIT), taught at MIT Sloan, and contributed to Goldman Sachs' 10KSB program. Hacker has authored two books on entrepreneurship and frequently speaks on technological and social innovation.
