Robert Grame is an Associate Professor and Co-Area Head of Design & Visual Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). He holds an MFA in Graphic Design/Visual Communication from Kansas State University. His creative practice integrates industry projects with experimental design, focusing on balancing professional work with academic contributions.
Robert's research interests span design education and applied visual communication, with notable collaborations including projects for the Keweenaw Land Trust, National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts, and the U.S. National Parks Service. His work has been exhibited internationally, featuring venues such as The Smithsonian Institute, Liechtenstein National Museum, and the Museum of Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing.
