Robert Ghrist

Robert Ghrist is the Andrea Mitchell PIK Professor of Mathematics and Electrical & Systems Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. With a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toledo (1991) and M.S./Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Cornell (1994/1995), his research bridges pure and applied mathematics, focusing on applied algebraic topology and topological data analysis.
