Robert E. Bonner

Robert E. Bonner is Kathe Tappe Vernon Professor in Biography and Professor of History at Dartmouth College. He specializes in life writing, the American Civil War, and 19th-century visual culture, exploring intersections of biography, sovereignty, and maritime history.
