Robert Cohen is a Professor of English and American Literatures at Middlebury College, where he teaches creative writing and literature courses. He has previously taught at Harvard, Rice University, the University of Houston, and the Iowa Writers Workshop. Cohen holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MFA from Columbia University. His publications include novels such as Amateur Barbarians, Inspired Sleep, and The Organ Builder, as well as a short story collection, The Varieties of Romantic Experience.
