Robert C. Salinas, MD, is a Professor in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He serves as Assistant Dean in the Office of Access and Community Engagement, Director of Community Medicine, and Founding Medical Director of Palliative Care at OU Health. His education includes undergraduate studies at UC Irvine, medical degree from American University of the Caribbean, residency at University of Oklahoma, and fellowships in Geriatrics (OU), Faculty Development (Stanford), and Palliative Care (Harvard).
Dr. Salinas's research focuses on geriatrics, hospice care, community medicine, medical Spanish education, community engagement, and healthcare disparities. His work addresses critical needs in underserved populations and medical education.
