Robert Bishop

Robert E. Bishop is an Associate Professor of Law at Duke University's Duke Law School. His research focuses on corporate governance, securities regulation, and financial markets. He holds an AB from the University of Chicago, JD and MBA from Columbia University, and MA, MPhil, and PhD from Yale University. He has clerked on the Delaware Court of Chancery.

• Public service highlights: Senior Advisor on Financial Markets at the U.S. Treasury during the COVID-19 pandemic, advisor to a U.S. SEC Commissioner, and service with the U.S. Department of Defense in the Middle East and East Africa.
• Co-founder of the International Institute of Law and Finance (IILF), a nonpartisan organization bridging academic research and financial regulatory policy.
