Robert Atkins

Robert Atkins is a faculty member at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where he has served since 2018. He previously held an adjunct professor role at SCAD in 2004 and taught at Comics Experience (2011–2017). His professional career includes roles as a comic book artist for Marvel Entertainment (2007–present), IDW Publishing (2008–present), and Michael Bay Productions (2015–2016). He is also a freelance illustrator for Disney Entertainment Group (2015–present) and Day6 Creative Group (2012–present).

Atkins holds an M.F.A. in Sequential Art from SCAD and a B.S. in Art from Illinois State University. His expertise spans comic art, visual storytelling, and narrative design, reflecting his dual career in academia and professional illustration.
