Robert A. Rubinstein

Robert A. Rubinstein serves as a Distinguished Professor of Anthropology at Syracuse University, holding dual appointments in the Department of Anthropology and Department of International Relations within the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. He maintains additional affiliations with the Middle Eastern Studies program.

His research spans core anthropological disciplines with specialized focus on cultural dynamics in international contexts, particularly within Middle Eastern societies. This interdisciplinary work bridges anthropological theory with global political frameworks through his dual departmental appointments.
