Rob Sackett

Rob Sackett is a Professor in the Department of History at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS), where he has served since 1982. His research focuses on modern Germany, the Nazi period, the Holocaust, and the Federal Republic of Germany. He emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches, exploring intersections between history, film, literature, and visual arts. Sackett has been recognized for his teaching excellence, including the 2010 campus Outstanding Teacher Award. He speaks German and Spanish and has published a book and numerous articles on German history and literature.
