Rob Reynolds

Rob Reynolds is a visiting professor at the University of Nevada, Reno, where he teaches seminars in studio practice and critical theory within the MFA Interdisciplinary Art program. A Los Angeles-based artist, he works across painting, sculpture, sound, video, and augmented reality (AR), with recent projects exploring themes of climate change and perception.

Education:

• B.A. in Art and Semiotics from Brown University (1990)

Artistic Practice: His artwork has been exhibited globally, including solo shows at Mignoni Gallery (2023, NYC), Transformations of the Human (2023, Berkeley), Overview at Anthony Meier Fine Arts (San Francisco), and installations such as Emergency on Planet Earth (UTA Artists Space, Los Angeles) and Meanwhile (Sunset Blvd. billboards). His work is held in major collections like LACMA, Brown University, LAXART, and the RISD Museum.
