Dr. Rob Cameron is an Associate Lecturer and researcher at the Australian Urban Design Research Centre (AUDRC) and the School of Design at The University of Western Australia. His research focuses on emerging technologies and their impact on urban perception and design, spanning scales from architecture to public art. He holds a PhD titled Architecture as Interface – Locative Technology and the Production of Public Space and co-curates the Urban Screening film festival within Melbourne Design Week. His expertise includes Smart Cities, Surveillance Capitalism, and Design Pedagogy.
