Ritchie Yao

Ritchie Yao is an Assistant Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), where he teaches undergraduate and graduate architecture studios. His research focuses on Domestic Futures (housing innovation under climate change and affordability pressures) and Civic Futures (community-driven adaptive reuse projects). He integrates spatial and typological experimentation to address social, economic, and environmental challenges in urban contexts.
