Rima Rassi

Rima Rassi is a Lecturer in Sociology at the American University of Beirut and an External PhD candidate at Erasmus University Rotterdam. With an MA in Sociology from AUB, her research examines refugee governance, social justice, and UN interventions in Lebanon and the Arab region.

Research focuses on Syrian and Palestinian refugee crises, emphasizing informal institutions, shelter policies, and intergroup relations. Her work critically assesses humanitarian responses and ethical dimensions of refugee research.
