Rim Hammoud is a Visiting Professor at the French Institute of Education (IFÉ) at ENS de Lyon during 23 June–27 July 2025. She is a faculty member at the Faculty of Pedagogy, Lebanese University, and holds a PhD in Chemistry Didactics from ENS de Lyon (2012). Her research focuses on collaborative educational networks, particularly the LéAL initiative in Lebanon, which promotes interdisciplinary collaboration between researchers and school actors. She has been closely involved with the LéA-IFÉ network since 2009, contributing to strategic partnerships between Lebanon and France in education.
Her work emphasizes co-development of knowledge between scholars and practitioners, aiming to enhance teacher professional practices through collaborative research. Key collaborations include a 2024 agreement between Lebanese and French educational institutions to formalize partnerships between LéAL and LéA-IFÉ networks. She is also a member of the LéA-IFÉ scientific committee and has coordinated partnership activities since 2020.
Rim’s current visit to IFÉ aims to analyze collaborative methodologies in LéAL and LéA-IFÉ networks, focusing on teacher professional development. This contributes to advancing expertise in collaborative processes for French-Lebanese educational systems and the “Passeur en éducation” diploma at ENS de Lyon.
