Rikard Landberg is a Professor and Head of the Division of Food and Nutrition Science at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. He is a leading researcher in the preventive role of plant-based foods, focusing on cardiometabolic health and personalized nutrition strategies.
His research integrates observational and intervention studies, with a strong emphasis on randomized controlled trials (RCTs) exploring the impact of plant-based diets on appetite, body weight regulation, and cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk. He employs cutting-edge metabolomics to discover and validate biomarkers, enabling molecular phenotyping for tailored dietary interventions.
