Rifat Mannan, M.D. serves as Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Pathology at City of Hope, where he also directs the Oncologic Surgical Pathology Fellowship program. With a career spanning multiple continents, Dr. Mannan brings extensive international experience from India, Kuwait, and the United States to his role as a specialist in gastrointestinal and liver pathology.
Dr. Mannan's research interests focus on gastrointestinal pathology, liver pathology, and the emerging field of computational pathology. His work explores the correlation between morphological features and molecular alterations in colorectal neoplasia, drug-induced gastrointestinal injuries, and innovative approaches to pathology education through digital platforms.
