Rick Hall

Dr. Rick Hall is a Professor and Director of Leadership and Management programs at Colorado Christian University, affiliated with the College of Adult and Graduate Studies - School of Business and Technology. He previously held key academic and administrative roles at Arizona State University and Thunderbird School of Global Management, including clinical professor, assistant dean, and faculty lead for global management programs.

Dr. Hall's research and professional work centers on entrepreneurship, leadership, food insecurity, nutrition, and technology integration in education and health. His interdisciplinary approach bridges business, public administration, and health sciences, with a focus on underserved communities and social impact. He has led entrepreneurship training for women and low-income entrepreneurs and contributed to initiatives addressing food deserts and mobile health solutions.

His recent publications reflect a strong trend in applied health technology, nutrition assessment, and community-based interventions, particularly in food insecurity and digital health tools. He has published in journals spanning medicine, nutrition, education, and food distribution, demonstrating a multidisciplinary footprint.

Dr. Hall serves on the editorial board of the International Journal of Innovation Science and has been involved in significant innovation initiatives, including co-founding the Mayo Clinic and ASU MedTech Accelerator. He has also founded a student entrepreneurship center and led training programs for over 100 mobile food businesses. His grant and project work emphasizes community empowerment, public health, and faith-based economic development.
