Rick Geddes

Rick Geddes is Professor in Cornell University's Department of Policy Analysis and Management and Founding Director of the Cornell Program in Infrastructure Policy. His research addresses funding, financing, and regulatory challenges in energy, water, and transportation infrastructure systems.

Key contributions include analyzing public-private partnerships (PPPs) for infrastructure delivery, evaluating state-level PPP enabling laws, and assessing road concession safety impacts. Additional expertise covers postal economics and corporate governance reforms. He has advised Fortune 500 companies and testified before congressional committees.

Fellowships include the Edward Teller National Fellowship (Hoover Institution) and Fulbright Scholarship to Australia. Teaching honors include three Merrill Presidential Scholar Awards and the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence.
