Dr. Richta IJntema is a Senior Lecturer at Utrecht University's Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Social, Health and Organizational Psychology. Her work focuses on preparing students for professional futures through innovative educational models. She develops blended learning programs emphasizing professional skill development, particularly in communication, reflection, and coaching.
Her research explores psychological resilience mechanisms in workplace and educational contexts, examining interventions for organizational change adaptation and professional sustainability. She investigates Gen Z learning preferences and technology-enhanced pedagogies using backward design principles.
IJntema has developed university-wide e-learning modules on career orientation, intervision, professional conversation, reflection, and feedback. She pioneered the AI-driven DialogueTrainer platform and received the Maarten J.M. van Son Award (2008, 2019) for contributions to psychology education.
