Richard Sherriff

Richard Sherriff is a Lecturer at London College of Communication, teaching on the MA Games Design and BA (Hons) Games Design programmes. His work bridges game development, research, and education.

Research interests include:

• Platform Studies
• Game Production Studies
• Games History
• Alternative Controllers

He explores how technology and historical factors shape game development, focusing on small, critical play experiments using digital games, spatial installations, and custom hardware. He presented at the History of Games Conference and the European Conference on Video Game Music and Sound.
