Richard Page is a Senior Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Biomechanics at Edge Hill University's Department of Sport and Physical Activity, affiliated with the Sport & Physical Activity Health Research Institute. He holds a PhD in Applied Sport Science from Edge Hill (2015) and has been with the university since 2012.

- Chair of the Athena Swan Action Group and Research Committee
His research focuses on elite sport performance, injury prevention, and athlete recovery mechanisms. Utilizing wearable technologies like GPS/MEMS and motion capture, he investigates soccer-specific fixture congestion, training load management, and youth athlete development. Current projects include boxing performance enhancement and GPS analysis applications.
Teaching roles include leading biomechanics modules at undergraduate and MSc levels. He has supervised numerous postgraduate students and maintains strong industry links for student placements.
