Richard Marmon

Richard Marmon is Associate Professor and Chair of the Accounting and Finance Department at Rowan University. With expertise spanning law, tax, and auditing, he holds JD/LL.M degrees and certifications including CPA and CMA. A two-time Wall of Fame Award winner, he integrates Big Eight accounting experience into teaching.

Research addresses tax ethics, financial crisis impacts, and Supreme Court rulings on corporate liability. Publications analyze whistleblower cases, post-crisis corporate behavior, and punitive damage litigation.

Legal practice includes estates/trusts work at Reger Rizzo & Darnall LLP. He previously clerked for the New Jersey Superior Court and taught CPA exam preparation.
