Richard Marback is a Professor of English and Research Fellow at the Center for the Study of Citizenship at Wayne State University. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago (1992), specializing in Language, Literacy, and Rhetoric. His research focuses on rhetorical theory, citizenship studies, and the historical development of rhetorical practices.
