Richard Kenneth Atkins is a Professor of Philosophy at Boston College and serves as Assistant Chair of the Department. He specializes in 19th Century Philosophy, particularly the works of Charles S. Peirce, and holds research interests in Pragmatism, Epistemology, and Philosophy of Mind. Atkins earned his Ph.D. from Fordham University in 2010.
