Richard K. Dunn is the Charles A. Dana Professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Science at Norwich University's College of Arts & Sciences. His work bridges geological and archaeological disciplines to reconstruct historical landscapes.
- Education: Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Delaware, M.S. in Geology from Wichita State University, B.S. in Geology and B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
Dr. Dunn specializes in geoarchaeology and Vermont's glacial history, using sedimentological and stratigraphic methods to contextualize human activity within paleo-environmental frameworks. His international fieldwork spans Greece, Israel, Portugal, Belize, Cyprus, and Easter Island.
