About
Richard Green is an Astronomer and Director of the Large Binocular Telescope Observatory at the University of Arizona. His research focuses on extragalactic astronomy and cosmology, with a particular emphasis on quasar demographics and instrumentation. He collaborates with Xiaohui Fan's group on high-redshift quasars and works with the STIS science team and the Nuker group to study quiescent black hole masses in nearby galaxies using integrated stellar dynamics. His work also includes follow-up studies on AGN emission-line profiles with Todd Boroson, focusing on Eigenvector 1 and component decompositions.
