Dr. Richard Goldberg is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry-Division of Psychiatric Services Research at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and serves as Director of the VA Capitol Health Care Network (VISN 5) Mental Illness Research, Education, and Clinical Center (MIRECC). His work focuses on recovery-oriented treatments and services for individuals with serious mental illness, integrating research, education, and clinical practice to enhance community functioning and quality of care.
