Richard Gehrmann is an Adjunct Research Fellow at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ), affiliated with the Centre for Heritage and Culture (Research). He holds qualifications including a Master of Arts (Deakin), Master of Education (USQ), and a Master of Studies from the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on war and society, social and cultural history, international relations, military geography, and military culture studies.
