Richard Delacy is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of South Asia Studies at Wellesley College. His academic work focuses on modern Hindi language and literature, particularly the literary novel during the late twentieth century, and commercial Hindi cinema from Mumbai since the mid-20th century.
