Richard Collins

Dr Richard Collins is a Senior Lecturer in Water Engineering at the University of Sheffield, affiliated with the School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering. His research focuses on hydraulic transients, pipeline integrity, and smart water infrastructure.

• Graduated with an Aerospace Engineering degree (2005) and PhD in Materials and Mechanical Engineering (2009)
• Current research explores pressure transients, leak detection, and autonomous robotic systems for pipeline inspection
