Richard Chung is a Professor and Department Chair in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at San José State University. He holds leadership roles in the Global Technology Initiative (GTI) and Summer in Silicon Valley (SSV) programs. His academic journey includes a B.S. from Chinese Culture University (Taiwan), M.S. from Youngstown State University (Ohio), and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University (Alabama).
