Dr Richard Bourne is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at The University of Manchester and holds a Visiting Professorship in Pharmacy at Newcastle University. He is also a Consultant Pharmacist in Critical Care at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since 2009. His roles include membership in national/international bodies such as the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine (FICM), European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM), and editorial board positions for CHEST Critical Care (2025).
