Dr. Richard Biffle is a Professor of Education and Anthropology at Thomas College, where he coordinates the Weaving a Tapestry of STEAM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) through the Center for Innovation and Education. He serves as Co-Chair of the President’s Task Force on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
His teaching spans education, history, cultural anthropology, archaeology, and sociology. Research interests focus on:
- STEAM curriculum development
- Multicultural education frameworks
- Social justice and equity in education
- Community organization strategies
With global experience in civil/human rights advocacy, Dr. Biffle brings practical insights from his background as a former elementary/middle school teacher and administrator.
