Dr Richard Allen is a Lecturer in Genetic Epidemiology at the University of Leicester's Department of Population Health Sciences. His academic journey includes a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of York, followed by an MSc in Medical Statistics and a PhD in Genetic Epidemiology, both from the University of Leicester. His research focuses on the genetic mechanisms underlying fibrotic diseases.
