Riccarda Peters is a Research Fellow at the Cancer Health Services Research Unit within the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health at the University of Melbourne. She joined in March 2020 and focuses on prostate cancer prognosis and treatment decision-making, particularly leveraging biomarkers. Her prior doctoral research at Swinburne University’s Centre for Human Psychopharmacology examined modifiable risk factors in cognitive ageing using neuroimaging. She holds a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Behavioural and Cognitive Neurosciences from the University of Groningen.
Riccarda’s expertise spans clinical trials targeting cognitive and health outcomes in older adults, supported by an ERA stipend for research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her research interests bridge health services innovation, gerontology, and neurocognitive methodologies.
