Ricardo Molina

Ricardo Molina, Ed.D., is a Lecturer in the College of Education at Texas Tech University, affiliated with the Educational Psychology, Leadership, & Counseling Department. With 38 years of experience in public schools as a teacher, administrator, and central office leader, he transitioned to higher education in 2011 and joined Texas Tech in 2012. His military service includes six years in the U.S. Army Reserve.

Dr. Molina’s research focuses on principal and superintendent preparatory programs, leadership ethics, and alignment of licensure frameworks with state standards. He contributed to the Texas Principal Standards review committee and participated in Harvard’s Principals' Center Summer Institute.

His scholarly work includes publications like Answering the call for 21st century instructional leadership (2015) and Ethics and morality: Passageways to a personal code of ethics (2012), reflecting interdisciplinary collaborations and practical leadership frameworks.
