Ricardo Borgos is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the School of Health Sciences, American International College. He holds an MSN from Gonzaga University and certifications as a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS), and TNCC. Prior to nursing, he worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston analyzing policies for low-to-moderate income areas in New England. His career transition to nursing was inspired by witnessing healthcare’s impact during his father’s leukemia treatment. He teaches Adult Medical Surgical Nursing and Complex Medical Surgical Nursing courses while maintaining clinical practice as a per diem rapid response nurse.
