Ric Wilson is an Associate Professor and Graphic Design Coordinator at the School of Visual Studies, University of Missouri. He holds an MFA (2001) and BFA (1990) from the University of Missouri and University of Tennessee, respectively. His expertise spans graphic design, typography, letterpress printing, and design pedagogy.
Wilson’s research focuses on design for non-profit organizations, with clients including Habitat for Humanity, March of Dimes, and international foundations. He has over 18 years of professional experience in design studios and advertising agencies prior to academia. His creative work includes limited-edition letterpress publications and interactive media.
He teaches courses in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Letterpress, and Graphic Design History. His national and international client projects reflect a commitment to social impact through design.
