Rhian Webb

Dr. Rhian Webb is a Senior Lecturer in TESOL/English and MA Course Leader at the University of South Wales with over 25 years of international experience. Her research examines explicit grammar knowledge development, action research methodologies, translanguaging practices, and pandemic impacts on TESOL education. She maintains a global professional network spanning Iraq, Morocco, Myanmar, Pakistan, Palestine, Thailand, and the UK.

Webb hosts 'The Words Matter Podcast' exploring pandemic-era teaching challenges. Recent publications investigate translanguaging attitudes in EMI contexts, online breakout room efficacy, and grammar awareness in teacher training. She serves as External Examiner for the University of Kent and committee member for IATEFL Teachers Research! group.
